• Palindrome: Given a string, split it into as few strings as possible such that each string is a palindrome. For example, given the input string racecarannakayak, return ["racecar", "anna", "kayak"].
• Subset: Given a list of integers S and a target number k, write a function that returns a subset of S that adds up to k. If such a subset cannot be made, then return null. Integers can appear more than once in the list. You may assume all numbers in the list are positive.
• ? 2 * (N - 2) comparisons: Given an array of numbers of length N, find both the minimum and maximum using less than 2 * (N - 2) comparisons.
• Palindromic substring: Given a string, find the longest palindromic contiguous substring. If there are more than one with the maximum length, return any one. For example, the longest palindromic substring of "aabcdcb" is "bcdcb". The longest palindromic substring of "bananas" is "anana".
• Matrix comparison: Let A be an N by M matrix in which every row and every column is sorted. Given i1, j1, i2, and j2, compute the number of elements of M smaller than M[i1, j1] and larger than M[i2, j2].
