• Jurassic Park (1993, film) - So, um, I finally watched Jurassic Park, the original one from '93, and wow, uh, the dinosaurs really hold up. The CGI, I mean, it's pretty amazing for its time. The plot, though, kinda predictable, but that's okay. Jeff Goldblum, he was great, really stood out. Oh, and the, uh, score, John Williams, right? Superb. But, the kids were kinda annoying, not gonna lie. Overall, solid movie.
• Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Where do I start? First off, the open world is just, uh, breathtaking. Nintendo really outdid themselves. You can literally go anywhere from the get-go. Climbing mountains, paragliding, it's all so freeing. The puzzles, they're clever, not too hard but make you think. Combat's fun, especially once you get the hang of dodging and, uh, parrying. Story's good, classic Zelda, but I wish there were more interactions with the main characters. Sometimes it felt a bit, uh, lonely? Also, the cooking mechanic is oddly satisfying. Experimenting with recipes was a fun side quest on its own.
• 1984 (book) - Just finished reading 1984, the novel, not the year, obviously. George Orwell, he, um, he really nailed it. The whole Big Brother concept, it's terrifying but fascinating. The writing's a bit dense, took me a while to get into it, but, uh, worth it. Julia and Winston, their story, kinda tragic, but really makes you think about freedom, privacy. Oh, and the ending, didn't see that coming. Powerful book.
